Chateau Marjosse is the property of Pierre Lurton, best known for owning two renowned wine estates: Chateau Cheval Blanc in St. Emilion and Chateau d'Yquem in Sauternes.

Pierre Lurton is a renowned and highly regarded producer of Bardeaux red and white wines in the Entre Duex Mers region of Porto, where his winery is renowned.
In 1990, Pierre Lurton took over management of the vineyard and has continued to develop it. In the beginning, the vineyard was only 12 hectares in size. Later, his father donated 34 hectares of land. Chateau Marjosse was continuously developed. Pierre Lurton expanded his vineyard, replaced old vines, planted new vines, improved the winemaking area and built a new wine cellar to enhance Chateau Marjosse to produce even more special aromas and flavors. It was completed in 2000.

This famous winery in the Entre Duex Mers area was renovated again in 2013 with a beautiful Italian architectural design.
